You’ve been sent to The Hole  - a steel-reinforced, electronically locked, pitch-black cell designed to be completely inescapable. With the clock ticking, you’ll need to work together, solve clues, and outsmart the cell before time runs out.
 
This is the perfect experience for anyone who loves adrenaline-fuelled challenges, immersive storytelling, and escape rooms with a truly unique setting. And once you’ve completed your mission, your ticket also includes a self-guided tour of historic Shrewsbury Prison, so the adventure doesn’t end when the door opens. 
 
What to Expect
 
Your experience takes place at Shrewsbury Prison, The Dana, Shrewsbury, where you’ll need to head to the Visitor Centre on arrival to get signed in.
 
From there, you’ll step into The Hole Escape Room - a dark, high-intensity puzzle challenge designed to test your logic, teamwork, and nerve.
 
You’ll have 60 minutes to escape The Hole, using your wits to solve clues and break free from one of the prison’s most formidable cells. The immersive setting, atmospheric design, and story-led gameplay combine to create a thrilling and unforgettable experience from start to finish.
 
A dedicated Escape Room Games Master will be there to oversee the experience and assist if needed, so you can enjoy the challenge with confidence.

Your ticket also includes entry to the historic prison, allowing you to enjoy a self-guided tour before or after your escape room, exploring the prison’s fascinating past at your own pace.
