About the Show
 
Oh, Mary! is a fast-paced, one-act comedy that takes historical drama and flips it completely on its head.
 
Set in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, the play follows a miserable and wildly frustrated Mary Todd Lincoln as her forgotten dreams, chaotic emotions and theatrical ambitions spiral into absurd comic territory. It's an 80-minute one-act play exploring the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs Lincoln “through the lens of an idiot”, referring to playwright Cole Escola’s deliberately ridiculous comic style.

The show has made a major impact on both Broadway and the West End, winning Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play and Best Direction of a Play, while the London production won the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play.
 
The West End production also features major star casting, with Jinkx Monsoon returning to the role of Mary from 17 August to 26 September 2026, followed by Lolly Adefope from 28 September to 5 December 2026.
