About the Show

Hamilton is the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of America’s Founding Fathers, told in a way that completely changed musical theatre. The official London production explains that Hamilton was an immigrant from the West Indies who rose to become George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the America we know today.

Featuring book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the show is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. It is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.
