About the Show
A mysterious killer is loose in Victorian London, and their crimes appear to be inspired by The Twelve Days of Christmas.
When Scotland Yard dismisses the deaths of several West End performers, Sherlock Holmes takes control of the investigation. With the body count rising, the great detective must uncover the connection, identify the culprit and survive long enough to enjoy another helping of Christmas pudding.
Fortunately, Sherlock will not face the mystery alone. Dr Watson and brilliant rival Athena Faversham join the investigation as the case races towards a potentially deadly conclusion.
Created by Humphrey Ker and David Reed and directed by Phillip Breen, this festive comedy whodunnit originally premiered at Birmingham Rep before transferring to Alexandra Palace Theatre for Christmas 2026. The production also features original songs by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Expect an entertaining combination of traditional Sherlock Holmes mystery, theatrical comedy and festive fun in one of London’s most atmospheric Victorian theatres.
