About the Experience
This immersive experience transports you to the bustling Coaching Era of 17th-century Broadway. Your visit begins inside Broadway Museum & Art Gallery with a traditional welcome drink and entertaining stories about coaching history, travel and everyday life in England during the period.
You’ll then discover the traditional art of butter making. Using the equipment and ingredients provided, you’ll churn cream into butter before learning how to pat away the remaining liquid, season it with local Droitwich Salt and shape it by hand.
Your finished butter will be wrapped in an eco-friendly beeswax wrap, ready for you to take home and enjoy.
Afterwards, sit down to a rustic seasonal meal, which may feature a hearty soup or traditional ploughman’s lunch served with freshly warmed bread. The experience includes museum entrance, a welcome drink, lunch, equipment, ingredients and the butter-making lesson

Experience vouchers are valid Wednesdays and Fridays, subject to availability.
The experience is designed for groups of four to eight people.
The experience lasts approximately 2 to 2½ hours, depending on the selected session and operating arrangements.
The experience involves hands-on food preparation. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
Children must be accompanied and supervised by a participating adult.
