As you speed across the water, you’ll explore one of Scotland’s most biodiverse marine environments, with the chance to spot Bottlenose Dolphins, Harbour Porpoises, Seals, Seabirds, and even the occasional Whale.
 
With a maximum of 12 passengers, this is an intimate and immersive experience, perfect for nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike. Every trip is different, shaped by the weather, tides, and the wild nature of the animals you may encounter.
 
What to Expect
 
Your journey begins at the EcoVentures Kiosk at the West Harbour in Invergordon, just a short walk or shuttle ride from the cruise terminal. After a warm welcome and safety briefing, you’ll be fitted with full waterproofs and a lifejacket before stepping aboard the RIB.
 
The tour starts in the Cromarty Firth, where your guide will point out historic landmarks, war fortifications, and natural highlights along the way. If conditions allow, you’ll head out through the Sutors of Cromarty into the Inner Moray Firth, a known hotspot for marine wildlife. Your experienced skipper will navigate to the best locations for sightings, while your guide provides live commentary in English, sharing fascinating insights into the local ecosystem, history, and wildlife behaviour.
 
This is a wildlife experience, not a show so while sightings are frequent, they can’t be guaranteed. But with the dramatic coastal scenery, expert guidance, and the thrill of the ride, every trip is a memorable one.
