What to Expect
 
Your adventure begins at Oxford Castle Quarter, where you’ll meet your costumed guide and step into the shoes of a historical character. Climb the 30-foot-high St. George’s Tower, one of Oxford’s oldest buildings, and enjoy breath-taking 360° views of the city skyline.
 
Then descend into the 900-year-old crypt, the last remaining part of St. George’s Chapel, where legends like King Arthur were once penned. Explore the Debtors’ Tower, the eerie Prison D-Wing, and the mound of the original motte-and-bailey castle, built after the Norman conquest.
 
After your guided tour, you’ll be free to explore the wider site at your own pace, soaking in the atmosphere of this historic fortress.
