Your experience begins at The Blackfriars Inn, where you’ll activate your pre-recorded audio guide and begin your self-paced tour of five historic gin palaces. Along the way, you’ll visit venues like the Viaduct Tavern, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, and The Punch Tavern, each offering a glimpse into London’s gin-soaked past and Victorian pub culture.
After your self-guided journey, you’ll arrive at the City of London Distillery & Bar, where a distillery expert will welcome you with a Gin & Tonic and lead you through a 1.5-hour guided tour. You’ll learn about the distillation process, the botanicals used, and the evolution of gin in London, followed by a 4-flight tasting session that showcases the distillery’s finest creations.
This experience is suitable for adults aged 18+, and requires a moderate level of fitness due to walking between venues. The audio guide is delivered via smartphone, and instructions will be sent the day before your tour.
