Choose from a 2-seater aircraft like the Robinson R22 or Cabri Guimbal G2, or opt for the 4-seater Robinson R44, which allows you to bring two guests along for the ride (weight permitting). With actual flight time of approximately 25 minutes, this is a value-packed experience designed to give you a real taste of flying, without the need for prior experience.
 
 
What to Expect
 
Your adventure begins at Hangar One at Redhill Aerodrome, where you’ll be welcomed into the Helicopter Club Office and introduced to your instructor pilot. After a pre-flight safety briefing and an overview of the helicopter’s controls, you’ll head out to the aircraft and prepare for take-off.
 
Once airborne, you’ll fly over the picturesque Surrey countryside, enjoying panoramic views and the thrill of flight. With your instructor’s guidance, you’ll be invited to take the controls, learning how to hover, turn, and navigate the aircraft. The published flight time is actual time in the air, not including classroom instruction so you get the full benefit of your time in the cockpit.
 
This private experience is tailored to your comfort level and is suitable for first-time flyers. Whether you're considering flight training or just want to tick off a bucket-list adventure, this lesson is a safe, exciting, and unforgettable way to experience helicopter flight.
