What to Expect
 
Your day begins at the Great British Car Journey in Ambergate, Derbyshire, where you’ll check in at reception and prepare for a journey through time. After a short briefing, you’ll choose your favourite from a fleet of 29 classic British carsfrom the Austin Allegro to the Ford Capriand take it for a spin on the private road network under the guidance of a trained instructor.
 
But the experience doesn’t stop there. You’ll also enjoy free entry to the interactive museum, where you can explore the evolution of British motoring through hundreds of beautifully preserved vehicles. When it’s time to refuel, head to the on-site café for freshly prepared food or refreshments, included with your visit. You’ll also receive a souvenir photo to commemorate your drive, and if you’re up for more, enjoy a woodland walk around the scenic grounds.
