What to Expect
 
Your experience begins at the Aviator Restaurant at Dunkeswell Aerodrome, where you’ll meet your pilot and receive a pre-flight briefing. You’ll learn about the motor glider’s controls, safety procedures, and the flight route. If you’re feeling adventurous, you’ll even have the option to receive in-air tuition and try your hand at flying under the pilot’s supervision.
 
Once airborne, you’ll head south over the Ex Estuary, reaching Exmouth before following the coastline eastward. Along the way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Sidmouth’s pebbled beach, Jacobs Ladder, the chalk cliffs of Beer, and the fishing harbour at Seaton. The flight continues to Lyme Regis, where you’ll see the famous Cobb marina before turning inland and returning to the aerodrome.
 
This is a private flight, tailored to your comfort and interests. While the motor glider is compact, it offers a smooth and quiet ride, perfect for sightseeing and aerial photography. Please note that passenger weight must not exceed 100kg, and the experience is not suitable for those with certain medical conditions.
