What to Expect
 
Your adventure begins in Cardiff, where you’ll meet your driver outside City United Reformed Church and set off in a comfortable private vehicle. First stop: Cyfarthfa Castle, nestled in a picturesque park in Merthyr Tydfil, where you’ll learn about Wales’ industrial past.
 
Next, venture into the national park to visit Henrhyd Falls, the tallest waterfall in South Wales and a filming location for The Dark Knight Rises. Then, pause at Defynnog Church to see a 3,018-year-old yew tree one of the oldest in Britain.
 
Continue to Brecon, a charming town with canals voted the prettiest in Britain, and enjoy a stroll through its quaint streets. Visit the Bannau Brycheiniog Visitor Centre, surrounded by rolling hills and dramatic mountain views.
 
Finally, marvel at Caerphilly Castle, the largest in Wales and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Choose to explore the fortress (entry fee not included) or relax in the town with an ice cream before heading back to Cardiff.
